All games and practices are conveniently held at Nytex Sports Centre, making it easier for you to get in the game. Whether you’re looking to challenge yourself or improve your skills, this league provides the perfect atmosphere for all levels.

- Will FWHA be part of TAHA and USA Hockey? Yes, Nytex is and will remain a long time member in good standing with TAHA and USA Hockey
- Are we required to have a USA Hockey membership to play in the FWHA? Yes, membership number will be required when you register, please visit https://www.usahockey.com to renew your membership today.
- How many teams will there be in each age division? Depending on the number of registrations, we anticipate 4-8 teams in each division.
- How will teams be determined? Coaches will host evaluation skates, and work together to create evenly matched teams. We will have several preseason leveling games to ensure teams are competitive and fairly matched.
- When will practices and games be? Majority of practices will be weekdays after 5pm, while in season you could also expect there to be added ice times on the weekends for practices. Games will be hosted on Saturday and Sunday, with the possibility of some week night games, as well as showcase games prior to a NAHL Brahmas game.
- Showcase games, what are they? Game played prior to LoneStar Brahmas Friday night game 5-6pm, Tickets provided to player and 2 parents, player participation, being on the ice with LoneStar Brahmas players during the National Anthem, as well as a 1st period shootout.
